To my mind, there is nothing better than curling up with a book. Not chocolate, not buying more cushions and not watching another episode of Selling Houses Australia (all of which are among my not-very-vice-like vices). Nothing. Books for the win in my um, book.
If books are your ‘thing’ too then you’ll know the feeling when you have a child to whom to pass on that love. Oh, the joy of rediscovering your old favourites.
But what to do when you discover that books aren’t your child’s thing at all and that the bookworm you thought you’d naturally give life to is in fact a reluctant reader?
